This was the nicest Christmas Day I’ve had since 2005.

Red and I got up early, exchanged gifts (he said my gift to him was the best and most thoughtful gift he’s ever gotten), then went to his parents’ place for breakfast.

After exchanging presents and stuffing our faces with croissants, we came home and he got ready while I got together all the stuff to take to my uncle’s place for my family’s Christmas lunch.

We somehow survived the obscene amount of food, chatted to everyone out of the 22 other people there, and then headed back home for a bit of a rest before driving back to his parents’ place for proper Christmas dinner. He, his dad and his sister then sat down and were watching random comedy DVDs while his mum and I had a chat at the dining room table about random things.

We’re finally home and I’m just about to get into bed with my iPhone and watch The Vicar of Dibley episode ‘The Handsome Stranger’, which is what Alex (seraphicseduction) and I watch every year.
